RUSSIA’s Central Suburban Passenger Company (CSPC) has placed an order with Transmashholding subsidiary Demikhovsky Machine Building Plant (DMZ) for 10 additional type EP2D EMUs for use on suburban services in the Moscow area.

The 11-car trains will be used on the Kursk, Riga and Kiev divisions of the Moscow Railway.

TMH says DMZ has so far supplied 550 EP2D vehicles to customers in Russia as well as the South Caucasus Railway in Armenia.
